Would certainly appreciate any thoughts. I am planning on being in Europe, specifically but not limited to Italy in Sept. I am using my Uncle Sam benefits and traveling free on Space Available (you get what you get and you dont throw a fit!)... would be interested in knowing any toy soldier hideouts in the area where I can strike up new friendships. I also think that after Italy I will get into Great Britain, looking in London and elsewhere.
8-10 weeks of travel ought to get the bug out of me a while!
thanks,
steve

4. Sticktoy of Milan:

5. Italian Kits

but please check out their mas15 on this link too - http://www.italiankits.com/Prodottieng.htm

6. HobbyAlba:

If you're into Pegaso then you won't need any Italian, just walk into any craft or hobby shop and they'll speak for themselves. Good luck and happy hunting.

Thanks for the excellent links. appreiciate the time and effort. The Carabierneri bands were impressive. Of those links do you know any that offer UNPAINTED resins or metals that I might bring back to the U.S.A.??

I will go back and explore a bit more.
thanks,
steve

If you do go to London you need to go to the shop called the Guards Toy Soldier Centre located very near to Buckingham Palace. phone number there is 020 7976 0850. They are very nice and have a ton of things to sell. Call them for their hours.

Also if you get to Germany I used to find some decent deals on nice sets of soldiers at a shop in the town of Rotenburg, they sold books as well I picked up a very nice copy of Rommels book there. I also found some soldiers in the open air markets of Prague so you should look at the flea markets too since you never know what will come to light.
