Robin Hood in Technicolor Gloss (1 Viewer)

Excellent Adam, already planning my diorama to use him, bring on the rest, the more the merrier.:salute::, Robin.

Robin arrived safely a few days ago, and I finally had a few minutes to knock together a little scene of him outside of Nottingham Castle, perhaps preparing for the archery competition:

By the way, just got finished watching the DVD of the classic version with Errol Flynn as Robin, Olivia De Haviland as Maid Marion, Basil Rathbone as the evil Guy of Guisborne, Claude Raines, my favorite loveable villain, and Alan Hale (the Skipper from Gilligan's Island) as Little John. They just don't make movies like that anymore.^&cool

My only complaint about this wonderful figure: it should have had Errol Flynn's facial hair.:smile2:

My backdrop is ready, just need the figures which Adam is working on. Have the same movie and it's how I see the figures in my mind, rather than the darker side as in the Russell Crowe version. Hopefully this will catch on with the collectors and encourage Adam to expand the range. Robin.

The Alan Hale in Robin Hood was Alan Hale Jr.'s (The Skipper) father. And for the record, Errol Flynn's "The Adventures of Robin Hood" is my All-time favorite movie!

Thanks for the information. They look so much alike (as father and son often do) I thought it was the same person.

My favorite movie is Casablanca, but Robinhood is right up there for me as well.

I will definitely have to add one of these to accompany my Robin!:wink2:

Has anyone a Robin Hood for sale? I missed this one.

Were Little John and the Friar Tuck ever released by Adam?

Thank you, Zach. Both arrived safe and sound.
