was just on a muzzleloading forum, and noticed a 6-part series on Rogers. its presented by a british survivalist/historian who traces the St. Francis raid, following the route in todays world. looked really interesting...... go to Utube... Ray Mears Rogers Rangers

I have watched part 1 and 2...

I have not learned too much about Rogers yet...

but I think I know how to make Johnny Cake on wooden pallet...

cook bacon on a stick and without a skillet...

maybe start a fire with a flint...

and an idea how to make a wigwam...

Okay...this is getting better...

parts 3-4 are giving a good rendition of Roger's travels and hardships...

thank you again Andy...very entertaining so far.
 
andy...ust finished part 5-6...fascinating...the hardships of the retreat...foraging for food...and making the raft was spectacular...thank you for the videos.:cool:
