Back by popular demand, we have a second variant of our Testudo, this time in black shields with the classic wreathe pattern. And if you want command figures to complement this Testudo, the Legio II Augusta command figures fit perfectly well as they too have the black shields with the classic wreathe pattern. In fact, the figures can be used to create an advancing legion by using the Augusta Command figures and not using the cover figures ROM162/ROM163. So there is a great deal of flexibility in how to use these figures. As with the previous version, these are fully modular figures allowing you to create a Testudo as small or large as you’d like. Please visit our website page for a detailed guide on how the figures fit together. Act quickly on these though, as like most of our Romans, we don’t expect them to be around for very long!
