Will be traveling to England, Scotland and Ireland this spring. Unfortunately its a cruise, so we cant get too far inland. One of my mags, Ancient Warfare, mentions the museum in glowing terms... I want to go deperately, in spite of my wife and friends who all ready booked tours. I have 2+ days in London. How far is the wall/museum north of London and approx how long a drive. I'll hire a cab if need be. Any info will be greatly appreciated, Thanks, Andy

Hi There,

Hadrian's Wall is up near Carlisle specifically near the small city of Hexham off the M6 Motorway and would be at least a 5 hour drive to get there. So if your cruise takes in some of the Northern areas like Glasgow or Edinburgh I think Hadrian's wall would be a long shot. There is a ton of things to do and see in London, I can certainly suggest a couple of amazing museums if you are interested.

Dave
