Any one of you collect the glory of rome Germanic barbarians figures in multiples (multiple figures with same pose) I realise that unlike the romans legionnaires, the germanic barbarians is rather tough to collect in multiples of each pose as it look weird when displayed
What do you guys think?

Yes, it does look odd to have doubles of the same Barbarians. I only have 1 of each of the barbarians where as I have doubles and in some cases triples of the Romans. Hopefully FL will revisit the Germans in the future with another release.

It is funny truism that the more distinctive the pose and/or uniform variation, the more difficult it is to display multiple figures with that pose. The FL Barbarians have much more distinctive poses and uniforms than most of the Romans, hence the dilemma. I do plan on having multiples of a couple of the Barbarians but I have been deterred by this problem. Conversely, I also have multiples of some Romans. The good news is that this means the Barbarians are just that much more fun.

I've loaded up my shopping cart multiple times to get into what looks like an awesome FL line...then back out...keep telling myself that I'm stretched as it is between WWII and Crusaders...c'mon lotto ! {sm4}{sm4}{sm4}

I was that way with WWII and Naps, but am very glad I took the Roman "bath," er, I mean plunge!

I agree with you guys that the FL barbarians is a bit tough in getting multiples of them, but i have to say they are Gorgeous!{sm4}

The Glory of Rome range is really great and i look foward to the upcoming releases from the range. The only issue i had at this point is that there are no Personalties that are released for the Glory of Rome range.

I was looking foward to seeing Marcus Aurelius or even some famed Roman General involved in the Marcrommanic wars.

That makes 2 of us. Hopefully in the not so distant future we will see Marcus Aurelius.

Collecting barbarians can be daunting, since they are normally all different. In addition, their numbers are normally greater then Romans on the battlefield. To get a good mix and numbers I collected from Conte, Collectos Showcase, Del Prado, K&C (hard to find), and FL (pricey but gorgeous), and for sheer numbers from TSSD (which I primed and painted).
