Have purchased just a couple to see how they blend in with my existing collection. They are terrific, really nice sculpts. Going to order some more as they compliment my Rome series beyond expectations. Thought you might be like to know. Robin.

They do look good, was looking at them as well, in a gladiator dio, would work well with sand spread around to represent the arena.

Looks great.

Robin...I'm impressed with Team Miniatures...those look great and seem a perfect match!

Cheers for sharing Robin, been wondering what Team figures would look like with K&C Romans.
Not a theme in the Roman line that I see myself pursuing but will keep Team in mind when other topics are presumably released.

Robin I have a lot of TM, indeed Rough Riders,Spanish and Columbus sets are due in early next week. I had been thinking of the gladiators but you sharing your purchases has convinced me to take the plunge. Thanks Gary

These guys look pretty good next to some great figures by great manufacturers.
Personally, I'd like to see TM cover the less-popular fields like this one that still have some interested collectors. I think there may be a decent market there. But that is not my business.
I agree that TM needs to go for the "box office" hits (Tatanka?) but I hope that they will keep producing fields that others have neglected.
A fan of TM,
Paddy

Ok it’s official, I am hooked with these following my latest additions today. TM is going to get a chunk of my money from now on. Working on a Gladiator arena presently, which should be finished in a couple of weeks. These Roman figures enhance my current collection in spades. Robin.

Thought you might like a couple photos to see why I am taken with these. Robin.

Good looking set up Robin and look forward to seeing your take on "Gladiator" when you get your arena.
Team have released some great figures in the various themes visited by them, I especially like their take on the second Boer War, but having run out of space, I really have to try and be more selective on what gets added to my collection. If space and money were no object, things would be different as I think you well know yourself Robin with space becoming short in your man cave !

Few years ago whilst on holiday in Libya and wandering around Leptis Magna I got the opportunity to explore the one there, go in the tunnels and enter the arena itself, fortunately there were no gladiators waiting for me when I walked out into the arena ! ^&grin

Yes a huge problem is space now in my man cave Steve. Not sure which is running out faster space or money 😀. Managed to find a spot for the arena on the floor under a table, but still very visible. I also have some of the first TM Romans, they are superb. My model maker is currently doing a stand for me and should be finished shortly. A few years ago in the South of France, one of the cities had a colosseum about half the size of the one in Rome, which was pretty spectacular and on the day a group of school children were engaged in some gladiator activities in the arena. Certainly a thrill to behold and a memorable moment. My collection at this time is All roads lead to Rome. Found your travels very interesting, nice to see the personal touch on these threads. Stay tuned for more from Mighty Rome. Robin.

And here's a photo I took of the arena which as you can see was built into the natural rock which was kind of bowl shape for the most part and behind the back of the pic is the Med, so perhaps cooling breeze for the audience back in the day !

Incredible structure for those days. Watching some YouTube on the Colosseum, one of the many amazing events was they filled the arena with water and had naval battles, what a spectacle. The Romans certainly made their mark in history. Robin.

I have collected most of TMs releases over the last 2 years. With JJD, Thomas Gunn and now back into K&C after a long while they are a must for me every month. Boxer Rebellion, Franco/Prussian War and Mongols are my favourites but those gladiators do look good. Keep up the good work. Gary

Thanks Gary. My gladiator scene is almost complete. My model maker says he is finishing the stand soon and I need one more figure on order. I must say I am wrapped in the quality of the first Romans done by TM before these latest gladiator figures. Was not easy to get them on the secondary market, but throwing money at them worked. Blend perfectly with my Roman collection. Stay turned for some photos. Robin.
