As K&C seem to do excellent little sets from much loved TV shows and movies could we not have a set from Zulu to add interest to our dioramas. Perhaps the two officers, the Colour Sergeant, Corporal Scheiss with his trusty crutch and of course Hookie.

With W Britains having covered Rorke's Drift and Isandlwana extensively and Conte having produced their Zulu film themed sets as well and Thomas Gunn with their great figures and recently John Jenkins with their Zulu War contributions, I would think, whilst it has been very popular. I wonder if Andy would find enough scope for originality to add to the theme, that would be financially viable.
Though I'm sure there would be collectors who would love them too, as some collectors will only buy the products of one manufacturer and not another however much the subject interests them.

I have all FL range and it is inspired by Fripp’s painting of Isandlwana. I think Matt has said the Zulu range was not great for them but a couple of nods to the film might have made it a bit more successful. Also the JJD range is based on the 2nd invasion which historically in my opinion is not as interesting.

Oh yes, I had forgotten about the FL figures.

I think Andy could be talked into a small incursion into Zulu via an iconic vignette. As he would say, never say never. Robin.

Very good idea!

I would buy into that.

It’s a film ingrained in memory of many a childhood Christmas/Bank holiday TV schedule.

I’ve always thought a set of Sharpe figures based on the books/TV would be popular…..
