Rorke's Drift backdrop. (1 Viewer)

Have just about finished my dio of Rorke's Drift using Thomas Gunn and Britain's figures and accessories. Does anyone know if there is a Rorke's Drift backdrop I could use with the diorama? The only Zulu Wars backdrops I have seen are for Isandlwana. Thanks.

I am doing Rorke’s Drift with 1st Legion and TG figures. I have made the Hospital myself modelled on the one in the film, like JG Miniatures. As for the backdrop I have copied the film which was made in the Drakensburg park in SA. As far as I know there is no Rorke’s Drift backdrop available. The film was shot with the Drakensburg Amphitheatre providing the spectacular setting. If you then Google the Drakensburg Amphitheatre, get the image you want and take or send it to a digital photo shop and ask them to reproduce it in the required size. If you want Rorke’s Drift it is very hard to get a suitable image to do the same with as the area looks different now I.e. telegraph poles and new buildings ect. Good luck.

Thanks Nic. Have just Googled that site and it does look good. I think I will go with your suggestion and take one of the images to someone who can digitally enlarge and print it. Much appreciated. Brian.
