I have a Frontline Figures diorama of Rorke's Drift from the Zulu Wars. All the figures are Frontline's; the buildings are John Giddens. I have other Frontline sets, but there is no room for them in the display.

Photo one: My Frontline curio (six shelves of just Frontline Figures) showing shelves three, four and five. Rorke's Drift is shelf three; shelf four is a 4-tiered display of Knights & Elite Forces while shelf five is a Sudan Square.

Photo two: A close-up of the entire Rorke's Drift display.

Photo three: Left side close-up

Photo four: Close-up moving right.

Photo five: Close-up of center right.

Thanks Mike for posting your Diorama of the Drift. Question do you have set 1 or to of The Victoria Cross Winners. I have set Number 14 of VCW2? Now looking forward to your Trophy figures of the period......The Lt.

I have VCW.2 Victoria Cross Winners set, with 19 figures, like you do. I would have prefered VCW.1 in the wooden cartridge box, which has the same 19 figures as VCW.2, but I didn't have the room to store it. I also have NZW.6 Zulu Regiment, 7 casualties; ZHW.1, 2, & 3 Hand-To-Hand combat sets; and 24F.6 South Wales Borders, standing & kneeling to repel in shirts. They are not in the diorama due to space limitations. A collector can get the Victoria Cross set plus a couple of the 24th Foot and Zulu sets and make an attractive diorama that isn't too expensive to put together.

Once again thanks Mike for your response and agree with your comments regarding how can put together a neat dio just adding to the Victoria Cross set. I'll be adding mini dio's using my Commissary Storehouse as a background to my Frontline Zulu War Thread. Got another question for you. By any chance have you any figures of the Zulu War from Greenwood and Ball? ...The Lt.

No, I don't own a single Greenwood & Ball figure of any type. Some of my Bob Walker Collection photos in the General Toy Soldier Discussion section have some Greenwood & Ball shots. BTW, you may have noticed that I do not mix figures from various manufacturers in any of my displays. I say I am a purist, my wife says obsessive-compulsive.
