I'm looking for models of Royal Navy Field Gun teams competing. I know Kingcast made some, but they are no longer trading. Does anyone have any, or know where I can find something of that nature?

Try Giles Brown at Dorset Soldiers Toy Soldier Shop. I have seen some there in the recent past - and he does a painting service now. He's UK based in Dorset.

Hello Freddie,
During the period that they were partners Mountford-Tarrant produced an entire series of the Naval Field Gun Competition. It could be purchased both painted and unpainted, and as a complete set or as individual pieces. Don't have any idea as to how many figures/sets were produced. I took a holiday to London and Scotland in 1997, and remember seeing some of the individual pieces for sale at the Guards Museum Shop. The series was in 1:32 scale. Subsequently inquired as to the cost of the combined display, and it was beyond my personal means at the time. Have regretted not having over-extending at the time, as it was magnificent (included all the team personnel, the gun and limber in pieces, the wall sections and ramps, the booms and lines), but such is life. You may want to try contacting the Guards Museum Shop (http://www.theguardsmuseum.com/Contact-Us) and/or Mountford Models (http://mountfordmodels.com/). Unfortunately Tarrants Toy Soldiers Ltd is dissolved. Hope this information is of some assistance.
