Rufe - time to play (1 Viewer)

Had a bit of time on Saturday morning so got the Rufe out and had a poor attempt to put in a setting. Anyway hope you enjoy my humble efforts.

An Aussie patrol has stumbled upon a Jap base on a pacific island. Target is to destroy the plane but Japanese forces are intent on defending their position.

I have ordered the last three planes from TG this month so plenty more action to come. Its the queen's birthday so its a public holiday in NZ this weekend so I might get around to one or two more dios. I would like to do a bit of a Waterloo thing but time will tell.

Lots to like about this layout Gary, the plane is outstanding, good that it balances nicely. Really like the jungle hut, fits so well. TG said it would make a hut, hope they come thru, otherwise back to my model maker. The JJD wharf is useful in the scene too. Loads of fun setting this up. :salute::, Robin.

Really nice dio with lots going on and great scenery. That is going to be a point-blank shoot-out but the Japanese have the armor advantage. Love the gray Rufe. Gorgeous model. -- Al
