Hi all,
I had a question for those of you historians and experts of WWII uniforms. I have really been admiring the WWII Russian greatcoat figures but wondering how they would go with or match standard German Wehrmacht grey/green uniformed figures.
Would it be odd to have the Russian greatcoats battling Germans not dressed in coats. The Battle of the Bulge Germans are outfitted for snow with white on their helmets and field coats, but I notice that none of the Russians have snow on their helmets or coats. I really don't have an interest in the German snow uniforms.
What do you guys think? Perhaps the grey Wehrmacht with their sleeves rolled up simply think the Eastern Front will be a short and warm battle?
