Hello,

Is there a reference anywhere that ID's the base markings are on russian made figures? They all seem to be quite disticnt, if they have any at all.
I have seen painted signatiures to casted branding. I was thinking in the future, this might become more important.
Aeroart is easy, but has it always been the same?

Well, since the night of time, brand or signature or logo have been mostly inexistants or incomprehensibles for almost all makers of figurines worldwide even today and this is true for plastic, resin, metal, aluminium, solid, hollowcast, flats, semiround, composition, all sizes ..... And I know at least more than 2500 makers inluding present day . Do you sincerely hope it will change.... That is wishfull thinking and I regret it .
And above that, even if the tendency is changing lately, Russian include in their range, figurines made by Italian, Spanish, English ../
and paint them well, forgettng to give the name of the makers ? So here what we need in fact is the name of the painter .

All True! however as the resale market develops with time some pieces will be sought after more than others. (by art house or painter)
