Thanks, Mike. As for the historocity (?) of the figure, based it on info and an illustration in a book I recently acquired. I will post the reference here later with an edit. I do try to approximate reality as possible, but I never call 'em "military miniatures" or "historical miniatures" for a reason, there is always something different I could have done to make it more accurate. Always "toy soldiers". I am also willing to go back and re-do a figure if I find the other version interesting. Cropped hair on a female fig would negate much of what makes it female at 54mm...but sounds interesting and I do like the background you gave, sounds like an interesting period in Mother Russia. Thanks again for the info. I learn history one toy soldier at a time.
