We are pleased to present the next significant release for our Battle of Stalingrad Series!!! Though since it's inception we have moved on to DAK, Normandy, and most recently the Battle of the Bulge, it will always be the original Stalingrad Series which is most dear to our hearts here at First Legion. This month we expand the series to add Soviet Naval Infantry along with another German Casualty figure. 2 Brigades of Soviet Naval Infantry fought at the Battle of Stalingrad with the 92nd Brigade being directly attached to Chuikov's 62nd Army. In addition to there service at Stalingrad, Soviet Naval Infantry were part of over 100 different amphibious operations, so these figures also provide an opportunity to recreate some of the much less known actions of the war. Mine, however, will fight among the rubble of the shattered city and they have been depicted as such including the bits of Rubble on some of the figure bases, a feature of many of the earlier figures of the series. To complement these new figures also have another German Casualty figure. We do hope you enjoy the new addition to our coverage of this iconic battle.
