For sale is a Russian-made set from Saint George's Cross of Russian Civil War White Guard Infantry, 1919. I recently saw a similar single figure on eBay for $40 from one of the Russian shops. Asking price is $125 plus shipping. If interested, please contact me at matara42@roadrunner.com. Thanks.

Saint George's Cross made sets with several different Russian Civil War White Guards Infantry Regiments using these sculpts. I have attached a photo from my displayed collection showing two of these different regiments. In addition, they made several versions of each regiment: Officer and five men; officer, drummer, and four men; and officer, flag bearer, and four men.

Was that one of the brands that Sergei Ilyanshenko used to sell when he was trading as Lead Army? I think the Preobazhinski grenadiers I have from him were St George's Cross.

I never knew they made the WWI Germans you had up for sale, either.

Prosit!

Hi Brad,

Yes, Sergri sold Saint George's Cross sets at both the West Coaster and the Chicago Shows. Can you post a photo of your Preobazhinski grenadiers here for all of us to see?

In addition to the Russian Civil War, Saint George's Cross also had sets from the Russo-Japanese War, 1905 and early World War I Germans wearing pickelhaubes on the Eastern Front in winter.

Mike
