This looks to be pretty good.Set in 1692 Salem,Mass.A young girl becomes bitter and turns to witchcraft after learning her love was killed in King William's War.This is suppose to be darker and have more horror than most witch tv shows. The bad news about this is it won't be shown on Comcast as it doesn't carry the channel it is on.Direct TV and Dish does. This was originally made for FX but since it had another witch show,AHS:Coven they turned it down much to my regret.I will get hold of the episodes somehow.

I'm watching it too. A bit of a guilty pleasure. Not the greatest show, but watchable. I do find it interesting that most of the main characters have both good and dark sides. You don't see that often in this type of show. Usually they just have the good and bad guys. I also like the fact that they make it available ON Demand without the commercials.

My biggest complaint is the night time scenes which there are many.I have trouble seeing them.

This show kind of grew on me in a campy way. I liked how all the characters were flawed in some respect like the show itself. It's a bit like the old Dark Shadows. Lots of hit and miss in the plot and acting, but it held my interest for an entire season and comes back next year. I give it a 6 out of 10. Now onto "The Strain."

Yeah it didn't quite reach the level I hoped but they do have a second season and hopefully they can improve it .I thought the first episode of The Strain was quite good.

Fun Fact.John Alden Jr. was actually 66 in 1692.Another fun fact.Increase Mather was against the trials from what I've read.

I don't know if anyone watches this show but it's a good guilty pleasure. Completely devoid of anything resembling historical accuracy though. Season 2 brought in Lucy Lawless. It reminds me a bit of the old Dark Shadows in some bizarre way. I think you have to watch the thing from the beginning to follow what is going on. Not something you can pick up in the middle.

Yeah I watch this.I know it's far from accurate but I love the 17th cen. aspect of it.

I finally got through season three via Netflix. It sort of fizzled out. I gather this was the final season. Feel bad for Brown Jenkins. There can't be that many quality TV roles for a rat.

I didn't even finish the season.A lot of shows fizzle after a couple of years, think Sleepy Hollow,Revolution, many many more.
