Also this month we have the next two figures in our Age of the Samurai series, SAM043 Toyotomi Hideyoshi and SAM044 Minamoto no Yoshitsune. To say that these are stunning figures is an understatement indeed. While both are incredibly ornate, SAM044 in particular might quite possibly be the most intricate figure we’ve ever done. For those of you who go way back with us, you will remember a particular figure we did SAM005 Samurai Archer. This figure was by far the most detailed figure we had created to that point and was offered at $80 at a time when we were creating $45-$50 figures. It was the first Samurai figure to sell out interestingly enough. Well, we think we may have topped it with our newest Samurai Archer figure, SAM044. The detailing is astonishing and it’s one we’re quite proud of indeed! Literally every bit of the figure is covered with some type of advanced decoration, there just aren’t any easy/extensive fields to paint on it. Lots of work, but certainly a stunning result. We hope you agree!
