Don't know if these count as dioramas, as there's no covering up the bases:

Moe...

they are what they are...
whatever you want to call them...

and they are beautiful!

This certainly qualifies as not only a diorama but an extremely good one. Just wish I had the extra money to collect this between wars range.

Thanks for sharing.

Really nice Moe. You have done a splendid job. Robin.

Just want to thank you gentlemen for your generous comments. It's been raining like crazy in Central Tx, and I've had a little extra time on my hands. I'm afraid that this has all translated into something of a "flood of pictures.";) Thanks again!:D

NOT A DIORAMA? … {eek3} … silly!
Of course they are dioramas and WONDERFUL at the same time.

If you can cover the bases in a scene, FINE. If you can't cover the bases in a scene, FINE!
In my opinion uncovered bases doesn't take away from the scene and the professional quality of the photo.

YOUR photos are a case in point.

Really well done.{sm3}

Moe...no kidding...this has been unreal lately...the rain...it's rained everyday for at least 10 days straight and looks like more in the forecast...we had some flooding last week in Galveston...Labor Day weekend was bad for the hotels and restaurants...killed the tourist influx...I'm sick of this rain...my yard is super green and the grass was really long til it got cut finally...this sucks!

Thanks, Larry. I don't know how to grade my work, except to say the results have improved since I registered for the forum in 2013. I ought to add that I'd have stopped posting pics long ago, were it not for the support and encouragement of the other members.:D

Yeah, I'm ready for the rain to stop. At some point, it becomes disruptive. That's where we are now, I'm afraid.

Moe...this has got to stop soon!

It's stopped south and west of Austin where it was so bad for days. Although it's cloudy, the temp is 74F and the humidity is way down. Apart from stream flooding, I think that things are looking up for us. Sorry, about SE Tx. Must remind you of Harvey.

Moe...
I was unscathed through Harvey...
nothing at all...30 miles north of me...
Houston got crushed...
