Sarum Soldiers--out of business? (1 Viewer)

One of the recent issues of either TS&MF or TSC magazines said that they were going out of business.

Thanks Mike

I have passed this along to individual who wanted to get castings from them.

There is a guy in Pennsylvania who has some Sarum left. I bought a set or two that were really great.

Tried to contact them for castings before the date they closed, but they wouldn't answer my e-mail. Would appreciate any contacts of those selling them either on this side of the pond or in the UK.

Patrick Wallis has given up the toy soldier industry to focus on keeping his job as a banker in London. He will not honor any new orders. He was hoping to sell the company but I am not sure if he has managed to do that. I last spoke to him two months ago and that was the state of play at that time.

It would seem that Sarum Soldiers will be at the London Show in December, according to the Exhibitor listing on the show site.

Gentle Friends,

I recall reading a note in an issue of Toy Soldier and Model Figure magazine that Patrick Wallis planned to attend some toy soldier shows after he closed his business. I believe his intention was to sell some of his remaining stock. Perhaps this is why Sarum Soldiers appears on the Exhibitor listing for the London December show.

Warmest personal regards,

Pat
