Hopefully this link below works.
This is an excellent 45 min documentary about the Battle of Mirbat (1972 in Oman) where 9 SAS soldier held off 300 guerillas. Of particular note was that the group were spread between two positions 800m apart and had to defend a WW2 25lb gun which they did not want to fall into enemy hands. Unfortunately 2 of the 9 were killed but the battle is one of the finest engagements of the SAS. Likened to the SAS Rorkes Drift. I believe the surviving Fijian went on to be the SAS trooper who got caught in the rope and burnt whilst assaulting the Iranian embassy a few years later.
There has been a campaign to get a Victoria Cross for the Fijian who manned the 24lb gun but as Lord Ashcroft says it was a deployment where the British wanted to keep it low key and a VC would have highlighted British involvement.

or Google SAS, Last Stand in Mirbat, "Oman" (Full... - The British Falkland Islands which brings you to a Facebook page.
If you have seen the movie The Killer Elite (with Clive Owen and Jason Statham) this battle is mentioned at the start and the plot is about revenge upon the SAS members by the rich father of one of the killed guerillas. Background here as some controversy around the original book, its author and plot.
