Some of us here at the Forum may know them.....Given that I have not seen any mention of them as a specific topic ....here are a few lines...
Scale Link is a manufacturer and seller of some great WW1 kits! They also do sell a limited number of assembled and painted sets...but those are few.
The really nice part of the whole series is that the sets/kits are sold on a basic set up, but weapons, hands and heads are interchangable so allowing us a lot of leverage for our imagination to run wild....I would say that one can have in his collection no two exact that same soldier set up if he so wishes...
The offerings cover the main WW1 countries, Belgium, France ( allowing for adapting them to all armies that used French derived uniforms throught the war, plus French Foreign Legion ), USA, Germany and UK ( the UK series can be addapted to all Empire troops minus Indian and certain other colonial troops due to head gear limitations ).
What they are also great at are artillery pieces, mounted British and German troops, British Armoured Rolls and trucks as well as an assortement of horse drawn wagons, bikes and motor bikes.....
What I have been told is that the soldiers were all sculpted by Alan ( our trooper in the forum ) and most of the artillery has its origins with Mountford before the clsoed down....
Well I hope you enjoy as I will post a few of the sets I have collected. These are mainly British, German and Frech Foreign Legion.....All assembled by Obee...
Cheers
