Fish, Got any Frontline or Niena Line Lancers for Slamming those Scots in their Flank? Great stuf. I dont have any of the Niena Cuirassiers but I really like yours!

Tim.

Are some of those French Cuirassiers from the Britains Collector Club range?
My compliments on a superb display.

Jeff

Tim you should become bored more often and I'll bet cha had a great time setting it up. While you have it set up it would be great to see some close up shots of both the Scotts and Cuirassier facing off along with other battle scenes with infantry and cavalry combined. It's enjoyable seeing photos by both you and Kevin and look forward to seeing many more. Got to get Fubar, Carlos and others to join us with their photos. It'll become better than going to a movie, renting a CD or watching TV..........Joe (aka The Lt.)

Thanks guys!!! Harold I have the frontline line lancers and I almost put them in also along with some polish lancers but then the british would have been even more out numbered then they were already! I have a few britishlife gaurds and blues but not enough to make a convinceing formation so I left those out also.
I wanted to do a REALLY BIG set up with lots of infantry also because I now have many new sets to display but its all over the place stored away and some at my moms because of the lack of room in here.
I have no room at all in here to do what I want but when I get out of this apartment and into somewhere with room to do what I want I could do set up like this all the time and munch larger and not have to wait till I have the house to myself to take over the living room floor for a couple of hours.
Its a major pain to hunt for all the figures to use which are stored all over the place???god knows where:p and do a quick back ground set up which I have to go down in the basement and hunt down all my scenery stuff I keep down there, bottom line is its a major pain in the butt to get this all set up or I would do munch more of this stuff and munch larger if I only had more room and time.
Oh! and then did I mention having to pack it all back up and tring to find all the right boxes again!!! :p
But its still great fun!!! I think I should pack up all my stuff and move into fubars barn and combine our troops for some REAL BIG napoleonic battle dioramas!!!

Yes those are the britains C.C. figures but there are only 2 poses on them. I wish they had made more poses. I have a bunch of those as you can see. I switched the hoses on a few to break up the attack of the clones look.
I hope britains does some more french cavalry with there improved look. I heard through the grape vine that they,ll be doing some scotts greys in the future but they,ll have shako covers and not bear skins like K&C and frontline.

Hey joe here are a few more photos for you I,ll see what I have for close ups.

Thank you very much. Your collection is beyond words. You also take some good pictures. I can now imagine what a charge of the Grays would look like in person, less the blood, guts and gore of course.

I can only imagine the fear that must rush through your body as you watch thousands of mounted troops coming at you in full gallup coming to chop you to pieces!!! Infantry troopers that did not form square were doomed and faced almost certain death or dismemberment if they could not get out of there in time. Some troopers wound try and play dead only to get a lance or sword in there backs.

Once again Tim thanks for the additonal photos they look great. Now I'm waiting to see if Capitolron will provide photos to support the Cuirassiers he sure talks up a good fight (meant as a compliment).....The Lt.

Tim, Your collection is of Scots greys is almost exactly the same as mine! You might have a couple more.
Great pix, I'm inspired.I'm going to have to get some of those Niena Cuirassiers.I Have about 30 assorted Niena Cavalry and they are really very very nice.
Good show, bring on the Lancers on the Greys left!

Oh Yea charging Calvary that's the ticket. Those pics are great I don;t know much about the Nap era, but I do enjoy a good Calvary charge when I see one. Mike.:)
