I was wondering, does K & C have one very busy sculptor , or a team of a few that stick rigidly to a "house style" ? I wonder because the style is so distinct ( in proportions, facial expressions, anatomy) and yet the new figures month on month surely cannot be produced by just one person?
Thanks in advance for any info.

One thing to add in is Andy, the owner of K&C sketches the figures himself. Very impressive considering
the constant monthly output of products.

Yes, I have noticed that , nice drawings they are too, quite often seen in the Collector magazines/ literature.

Hi Rudi,
In answer to your question....

K&C employs a team of six very talented sculptors...5 male and 1 female. All with their own unique skills and abilities.

We are looking to add a 7th. member very soon.

And yes we do have a general 'house-style' that is fairly easy to recognise...I hope.
Thanks for your interest...and best wishes,
Andy.

So many things in life are personal preference, food, music, clothing etc., but for me in toy soldiers K&C have always been my favorite. I have collected Britains,TCS,First Legion, and TGunn and they all make a fine product but for me nothing beats K&C. I have always liked the faces of the figures more than other companies and they feel so substantial in your hand. And the variety can't be beat. I collect almost exclusively WW2 but if i wasn't putting the 3rd of three boys through college i surely would venture into other ranges. Love the Dickens range and Life of Jesus, and the Medieval Knights are awesome but that'll be for another day. Just my opinion.

All of us at King & Country truly appreciate your words and support Mister 'H'...

We realise this is a competitive business and there are other companies producing fine work too and seeking your hard-earned bucks into the bargain.

However we will continue to strive to do our best in our own unique style and way to help build your WW2 collection and, who knows what perhaps, in the future.
Best wishes and happy collecting!
Andy and K&C.
