Actually it was taken next to a small lamp with a yellow lampshade. I have a rather low special effects budget!

Ha Ha - That is Stunningly Brilliant. There's nothing quite like "Keep It Simple Stoopid" is there?
The effect is nice though. Think I'll try something like that, maybe with a red lampshade?

It's broomstraw from the frayed end of an ornamental broom I purchased at Pier 1 Imports some years ago.
