If I am reading a previous post correctly, this is the 2nd Collector's Club figure. Unless I am mistaken, Monakatooka = Chief Scarouyady. Kopperman describes Monakatooka as an Onieda Shaman -- I believe the leader of the Indians scouting for Braddock. So depending on whose history you are reading, I think either of the names refer to the same individual. Apparently, all 7 indians scouting for the British survived the battle.

Scarouady (Skaron' hiă'dǐ`, 'on the other side of the sky.'—Hewitt). An Oneida chief, sometimes called Half-King, who came into prominence about the middle of the 18th century. He was known among the Delawares as Monacatuatha, or Monakaduto. He is mentioned as early as 1748, and in 1753 was present at the Carlisle treaty. The following year he succeeded Half-King Scruniyatha in the direction of affairs at Aughwick, Pa. (Pa. Archiv., 1st s., ii, 114, 1853), whither he removed from Logstown to escape the influence of the French. On Jan. 7, 1754, he was in Philadelphia, on his way to the Six Nations with a message from the Governor of Virginia, and also by the desire of the Indians of Pennsylvania to ask the former to send deputies to a conference with the Governor. He was with Braddock at the time of his defeat, having made in the preceding May a speech to the Indians at Ft Cumberland urging them to join Braddock in his expedition. In 1756 he seems to have been attending conferences and making speeches, mostly in behalf of peaceful measures, in some of these efforts being joined by Andrew Montour. One of his speeches was made July 1, 1756, at the conference of the Six Nations with Sir William Johnson in behalf of the Shawnee and Delawares (N. Y. Doc. Col. Hist., vii, 148, 1856). Mention is made in the same year of his son who had been taken prisoner by the French and afterward released, and who soon thereafter visited and conferred with Johnson. Scarouady was a firm friend of the English colonists, and as strong an enemy of the French. He was an orator of considerable ability, and was the leading speaker at the numerous conferences he attended. His home was on the Ohio Ruver in west Pennsylvania, where he exercised jurisdiction over the western tribes similar to that of Shikellimay over those in central Pennsylvania.

A Warning for General Braddock: (BY Robert Griffing)General Braddock’s chief scout, Christopher Gist; his son, Nathaniel; Scarouady, an Oneida chief; and several Mingo scouts survey a recently abandoned French Indian Camp site. One warning sign is a fresh scalp, hanging from the forked stick in the lower right of the scene. The Mingo shown behind Gist interprets symbols painted on the trees that are meant to frighten Braddock. With the information gathered, Braddock, assuming the French forces were afraid of his advance, developed a sense of false confidence. The rest is history: his forces were decimated as he attempted to advance on Fort Duquesne in 1755, and Braddock was mortally wounded. As painted, Nathaniel Gist was twenty-two years old. He was the same age as George Washington, who was serving as an aide to General Braddock. Washington, Nathaniel Gist, and Gist’s brother, Richard, remained friends the rest of their lives.

I echo our friend Cantinetozzo's words. Super figure to go with all the other super figures produced by JJD and not enough left on my Visa card to buy it all....alas!

I'd like to buy all of these new sets (i'm mad about Gordon's death set ,Victorian era my favourite of all, hope it will be divided in sets affordable , but i confide in JJ)..but certainly i can say in the new year i'll add this figure, some more Jacobites and Barrel's Foot, and the 2 figures completing the beautiful (and i'm proud owner of it) Death of Wolfe set...if only i could win some lottery i'd buy all!!!

Although I'm very excited about the Sudan range because I love Victoriana too, I'm apprehensive because I don't know how I'm going to pack all the figures I want in to my collecting budget!

Nevertheless, it's a nice problem to have as it highlights the qualityof John's work and the following it has. I'm also intrigued about the timing of the K&C British Empire range, will it create a head-to-head at some point in the future.

Looking forward to receiving the collectors club figures in due course, I understand we should receive them in the UK in the new year.

I'm eager too to see the potential developement of the SOE series..i think i'll pass the hand on the first horse figures (maybe i'll take the officer in the future) and invest on the Club Figures (already i have the Skinner's figure) with the beautiful brit.officer released lately..then we'll wait the other range i'm eager to see , the Nile Range by WB and there are the Crimea Figures too!!...2010 a difficult year for me..:)if you hear about some great bank robbery in Italy..then you know where to search!:)

Yes, so much to buy - If only money were no object!
However, I'm happy to be spoilt for choice!!
