Having retired a Centurion decides to see the wonders of the Empire.

The Egyptian tout tries to entice the Roman tourist with a ride around the Pyramids.

He no doubt fought hard to be in this position, in his service to the Emperor, so he has definitely earned this retirement holiday. Good one Steve.
Robin.

It's a hard life keeping those wretch'd Brit's down, but the rest are even worse !
Those North of Hadrian's Wall, I'd like to say they're worse, but you've met the ****** and the ***** not to mention the ****** .
Thank the God's Italia will never suffer the ravages of the ****** absolute savages the lot !

A well played out scene Steve with this title setting. Thank you.

Cheers,
Grey

They could really use a cabana or an umbrella at the least. Looks hot. {sm2}
Nice combination of pieces that tell a story.

Thanks Grey :salute::
Just wondering, there is more mileage in theme if I put some thought into it, so you never know he might see some more sights yet !
Anyone seeing all those stars will think the forum has censored me, no nothing like that, just I was too tired to look up the names of appropriate tribes for where the Centurion might of seen service.

Had to blast the photo with light in photoshop as was dull and overcast here yesterday. even though else many places are having heatwaves.

A cabana, would be nice for the horses Rob !
The Centurion should know better than to not wear a hat !
Remember not to drink the Nile water. At least that's what they tell tourists !
