I just learned recently some more details of how eBay operates relative to sales that are reported to their Customer Support section ( Resolution Center) by a buyer for a "problem" with the seller. I verified this via call to ebay at 1-866-540-3229. A seller can have a "No returns" policy", but this only appiles to "buyer remorse" cases. A seller can also state in his listings that there is no refund of any postage for items that were sent to buyer as well as seller not paying for any postage for a return of an item. However, once a buyer would file a complaint to eBay's Customer Service under their eBay Buyers Protection Plan then "eBay rules" take over!
At least for some years now eBay has the rule they use in making their decisions where buyer claims damage or "Item not as described" that the buyer pays for shipping item back to seller and the seller pays or refunds the shipping fees that were charged and paid for by the buyer at time of purchase by the buyer related to the returned item from the buyer. Sellers Beware!!!!!!!!!!
