Need a Radar station destroyed,a vital convoy ambushed,a Port occupied and rendered unusable?.Send for the Commandos!!.I'd love to see K&C do some more boys of the Green Berets.Sten guns,face camo,rope ladders,German guards done away with silently and ruthlessly.Stens,Knives,Pistols,Grenades,need a job doing in and out again...send for the boys in Green.

How about it Andy?.The Vaasgo raid would be a great start.

Commandos you say? Hmmmm....not thought of that as a potential line before, but now you mention it....

I'd say the Airfix and Matchbox figures would be a pretty good starting place for inspiration (not that I suspect inspiration is required).

Commandos are a great suggestion. They would match up well with some of the Royal Navy figures from the FOB series. They would also look great with the new Jetty/Bridge and the newly released British landing craft.

Churchill war so impressed with thier fighting ability that when he formed the British elite force he named them "commandos" in honour of the Boers.

Sorry folks for slightly derailling the thread. I just can't help myself when it comes to promoting the Anglo-Boer War.

I also got the 3 sets ( thanks to CapitolRon), Who offered to sell me the missing set a little over 5 weeks ago, when I was looking for one.
Last time I saw My commandos, they were protecting Lord Lovat, from a german bunker, While wading ashore in the LCA.
I would love to have more commando's. CMON ANDY (sorry for shouting).
