I hope this does pan out. The original was a great movie and Crowe did a nice job in the lead role.

Really enjoyed the first film, I've not watched the DVD for ages though so might have to dig that out for the weekend. Hope the sequel is made and that they can keep the same actors who were the ships crew and of course Messrs Crowe & Bettany!

Could inspire a new line of toy soldiers in Napoleonic era naval figures??

Patrick O'Brian is one of my favorite authors. He wrote 20 novels in the series about the Aubrey/Maturin partnership. They make an exceedingly good read about Nelson's Navy and those glorious days of sail.
