Saw this B/W cold war movie about a military coup to overthrow the US Presidency. Burt Lancaster, Kirk Douglas and others. Good acting all round.

A terrific movie all around. I've seen it several times. Kirk Douglas is terrific as the officer who upholds the Constitution. Ava Gardner is great in her role. God, she was beautiful. I recently saw her in The Killers, a 1946 movie, in which she stars with also a young Burt Lancaster, also good in Seven Days. A terrific movie and both are wonderful in this movie, based on a Hemingway story.

Completely agree, 7 Days is a classic. Get your bets in on the Preakness and don't forget to stop by the ECOMCON on the way home.:wink2: The Killers is also a good show. I love good noir films. -- Al
