I visited my grandfathers cemetery years after his passing on Christmas Eve. Since I didn't live close I wasn't able to go/visit much. Nevertheless, I arrived and I entered the cemetery during dark. It is a cemetery in Hayward, Calif on Mission Blvd. named "Holy Sepulchre Cemetery"...it's rather large to say the least. I couldn't remember exactly where my grandfather's plot was located...I could only remembered that it was off to the left side after entering. My girlfriend was with me at the time and I said to her "I don't think were going to find it"...then as we turned a corner our headlights came to rest and there lie a deer directly on top of my grandfather's plot and a Buck standing aside. It was a very memorable moment! Even more so because about 10 years earlier I asked him once while fishing on Trinity lake that if he ever died to give me a sign that he was still there. He responded with what!...you want me to drop a feather out of the sky? I said no, just do something good that would make it obvious! God Bless my Gramps he was an amazing man and a dedicated deer hunter!
