For those forum members attending the Chicago show in three weeks, I suggest making our room searches more efficient by sharing discoveries of K&C items (or any other things members are looking for) that we do not purchase for ourselves or are not interested in. We could leave messages about the find with room number with the Reuss' in Room 5203, or when we see each other in the hallways (with our Treefrog name tags?).
I already know what Louis is looking for (pending his latest eBay bid).
I am looking for the following things:
1) Any old, glossy K&C Streets of Old Hong Kong that have been retired and are no longer available from any dealer, including any of the old wood and paper-mache buildings, and the first polystone building facade made up of three stores -- I have everything; but like Louis, I would like to get duplicates to make larger dioramas;
2) The paper-mache gate from the Silk Road Series (Yes Louis, I know you have several);
3) IWJ 11, the original USMC M4 Sherman (in undamaged condition); and
4) CA 8, this is the white Imperial Chinese Soldier with regimental banner (white flag with picture of tiger).
Of course, if you are looking for the same things, it is "finders keepers."
