I'd love to see K&C produce a Sharpe figure, maybe even a range similar to the Dad's Army/Black Adder sets, with Harper, Simmerson, Hakeswill, Teresa etc. Hopefully one day! And maybe Sharpe could usher in a return to the Peninsular War? So many colourful, legendary characters, exploits and regiments. Would love to see a Craufurd homage.

Cheers,
Ollie

Absolutely, I would definitely go for that!!

I’m currentlly enjoying the 3rd book in the series ‘Sharpe’s Fortress’. Superb books.

A collection of Sharpe figures would be most welcome, comrades and arch enemies. It would complement nicely the 95th Rifles figures.

I didn’t catch the TV series first time around, but looking forward to catching up on that..

I'd go for that as well... probably the tipping point that would get me into Napoleonics.

Enjoy! The stories are fantastic, and the series is brilliant fun. I remember watching the series as a child in the 90's. My mum would watch it and I remember only being interested when the battle's occurred. Years later Del Prado brought out their magazine with napoleonic cavalry and, knowing nothing of the period, the red coated model rekindled the memories of Sharpe and began my interest in Napoleonic Wars and toy soldiers. Which leads me here!

Cheers!

I've read all 20+ books, and it spurred my interest back into Napoleonic, and painting soldiers from those battles in the Peninsular Wars.

Tradition of London make 2 sets of figures :

Which is fine if you are collector of glossy figures.

I'd like the matte finish, with a rag-tag uniform, ripped, patched, mud splattered and holes in boots or sandals which was much like the real soldiers of that time and place.
The Tradition set on the right above does do that :)

The new set of 95th rifles that K&C have made are nice, but look like they have just come from the Q-Store !!!!

Thomas Gunn did try to make a 2nd set with a change of hats and colours of trousers with patches and dirt, but the figures were too large still the thought was there ……. :)

We can only wait and see, but if the figures look anything like the movie actors there could be a copyright problem !!!

The tattered uniforms would be great. I loved Cold Steel Miniatures approach with their 43rd soldiers.

I like the Tradition sets. They have a vintage charm. First legion also did a rifles officer clearly representing Sharpe. Would love to see what K&C could do.

The copyright point is interesting. Since we've already had Dad's Army, Blackadder, Wardaddy, Flashman the duellists, With a good likeness, I hope that any potential Sharpe figures could look like the actors from the series, despite the book versions differing in description.

Cheers
