Has anyone tried or succeeded in attaching a Hedge cutter to a FOV or 21stC Sherman? I've taken one of the Hedge Cutters from a FOV Stuart & am planning on trying to mount it to a Sherman, but haven't figured out the best way to mount it. Any ideas out there? Thanks.

I used the cutter casting from an old Monogran M4 Sherman kit in 1/32nd on my first FoV Sherman to hide the gap in the transmiision housing. The good news is that the hedgerow cutters were a field expedient that was applied in a hurry. There were multiple designs and several ways they were attached to the tank. The most common seems to be either welded to the transmission cover or to the towing lugs.

Thanks, Did you glue it or find a more secure way of keeping it in place. I was thinking I might have to drill 2 small holes in the hull And run a small screw thru it into the cutter to keep it secure. Any suggestions? Thanks
