Did anyone get their hands on the Europe DX06 limited show special of the Sherman Firefly? Looked very cool. I see Dragon is introducing a regular issue Firefly for a Nov/Dec release date here in the US.

Yep, I purchased one, Fullyautomatic. The “Douglas Kay” DX’06 Firefly Vc (#60250) is a really honey. But then nearly all Dragon Armor models are superlative.

I own the three regular release Firefly Vc’s, too (#60251, #60259, and #60260), which are basically the same Sherman. Two differences, though: (1) the #60250 lacks a port-side turret ordnance hatch; and (2) Dragon attached a stowage box to the turret radio box (same on the #60260). Other than that, they’re the same animal.

For pure realism, it’s hard to beat Dragon Armor.

Lucky dog you are. I couldn't find a contact to pick one up for me. Oh well the hunt continues. I have not checked ebay for quite sometime but there are probably a few floating around out there. None the less I have a lot of catching up with the recent Engineer's halftracks and the Hummel's to get still.
