I just finished this base for a customer, it measures 33” by 16“ and is my first attempt at snow. It was made to provide free movement of the customers soldiers and vehicles. Below are pictures of the finished base, with soldiers. Pardon my selection of soldiers, but what you see is all the WW2 I have. I crated it so it would arrive in one peace. How do you all ship?

I never shipped an item that big. I did order delicate items (tall ships w/ masts and riggings 40" long X 38" high)in the past and all came in intact (some from China & Vietnam). These were placed in a crate and fastened with straw strings and styrofoam to protect the edges. If you go to e-bay, click on "The Red Sun" you'll see the vendor's tall ship items and how they are packed. UPS Strore and other mail shop can ship this for you. You may also want to check freight consolidators (shipping co that accept single items and cosolidate with other single shippers) The price may range from $50-$100 depending on the weight (use pine crating material...its lighter).

Also, unless you are sure about those pine trees glued to the base, I would recommend removing them and have your client glue them to the base.

I ship via UPS. I don't trust anything else. Never had a problem with anything arriving safely.
