We received the final shipment of the Shores of Tripli line and finally had a chance to see them in person. IMHO, they are quite amazing. While the Chinese (and Argentines) are excellent painters, it's great to know that it can be done here in the States as well  We'll have the images on our website updated tomorrow.

The figures are 1:30.

Here are the images of the two sets that are just now available.

Not as good as Pete's photos, but here are a couple of shots of the range in action.....

Hi Pete,
are you able yet to estimate the schedule of the future releases for this line?
Konrad

This looks to be a superb line of figures. The subject is fresh, the poses dynamic and beautifully sculpted, and the painting is outstanding with vibrant colors. Everything this hobby should be about. Great job. -- lancer

The tentative plan is to have a set ready every 6 weeks. We're waiting for the Donzinos to get back to Argentina to get things rolling again (and get the latest molds up here to the states). We'll have an update in the next week or so.

I have had precisely the same thoughts. Well put.

Nothing more to add, very well described.

Hi Shannon,
Will the building and facade be available for purchase?

Also are there any plans to sell individual figures or set of two figures?

Thanks
Benjamin

The building and facade are scratch built by Daniel Donzino for the pictures. There had been talk of working to make it commercially available, but K&C's great new desert buildings work well.

The plan is to sell them in their 4 figure sets.

Makes it hard to buy with 4 figure sets.2 figures is more realistic for most of us.Nice figures though.

Hi Peter,
Thanks for your reply.

I have to agree with Mark that two figure sets are a nice option, if they existed. Two figures sets are more affordable and frankly there are a lot of great products available from other companies. I collect a range of figures, WB, JJD, etc. Single and two figure sets allow one to sample from a range of companies.

By the way KC desert gate is great, however, if you produced your own gate and sold it for $50.00 I think that they would fly out the door. I own the KC roman gate, it is nice, but I do not think that the desert gate is worth $90.00.

Just my two cents.

Here are some photos of "Shores of Tripoli" figures together with King and Country scenics to show how they work together.
I like it :)

Great figures Konrad.I read on this period and it is very interesting. Some real characters on all sides in this little war.

Mark,
just yesterday I received the Osprey "Essential Histories" book about the Barbary Wars. Hope to find some time this weekend to read it and get an idea about that time, since up to now I don't know anything about it.

Konrad,
There's a movie also about this but I can't think of the darn title. The Americans with Greek and Egyptian mercenaries march across the desert and attack Tripoli.
