Short-notice "Dunkirk-like" evacuation of my K&C. Suggestions for safe transport?

I need to get my K&C figures to "safety" and do so quickly. I do not have access to the original boxes under the circumstances.

Anyone have suggestions for fast, safe, storage solutions for around 120 figures?

I don't think my in-laws will treat the captured gently if my guys are "cut-off".

Suggestions much appreciated.

Wrap them individually in bubble wrap, line box with said wrap or other soft packing and store as many as will fit nicely in one box. They will be quite safe and are not as delicate as often feared. Just take care with rifles or flags or other pointy bits.

Hope you're not being flooded out or something. Regarding pointy ends and such, before wrapping in bubble wrap put a small piece of drinking straw over the end and wrap carefully. Most companies use the drinking straws to protect the ends. Another way is to put a packing peanut through the sharp end and wrap carefully.

You can do bubble wrap as that always works well. Another method is to take a red "solo" plastic cup, put the soldier in it, and fill it with packing peanuts. Then masking tape the top if necessary depending on mode of transport.

Whatever you decide good luck. These sort of armies arent really meant to be in transit as I'm sure you're already aware.

These are all good methods, but one golden rule: "Just one layer in the box !!!!!, never, NEVER stack them on top of each other. I am speaking out of experience
