Ok, I've goofed off long enough after returning from OTSN a week ago, so it's time for another show, this one is this Sunday October 9th in Fredericksburg at the Convention Center right off of route 95, show hours are from 10:00am till 3:00pm, I will be there with K & C, JJD, First Legion, Britains, Collectors Showcase, TGM, Figarti, Honour Bound, Del Prado and my newest range, Frontline, am very happy to be carrying this fine figure range, will have all the new SYW Prussians at the show.

Hope to see some of the forum members there...............

George, which SYW Prussians are those? I must have missed the news.

Prost!

Hi Brad,
Frontline is releasing a new series about the 7-Years War in Europe.
I saw the first releases in Chicago, but in the end had forgotten to get back to their room with my camera.
The figures are very nice and some of the sculpts are inspired by the attached picture (The Battle of Zorndorf).
Hopefully we can see them soon on their website.
Konrad

Very interesting! Thanks for that update, Konrad!

Yes, I checked Frontline's site last night, after I saw George's post, but could find nothing about this line. We'll have to see, I'm eager to collect them, but I'm curious to see where they scale out. They might not mix with the rest of my collection. They might mix with the figures by MiniWelt-their kits are around 60mm, and very detailed, too, by the way.

This is a great development! And wasn't there a note about John Jenkins adding Seven Years War figures to his catalog?

Prost!

Brad, I will take pictures of them this weekend at the show and get them out to you.........

Thanks, George, that would be great! I've been searching the Web for updates, but there don't seem to be any yet.

George,

I'd love to see pictures too, as friend of mine from here in Perth was in Chicago and mentioned about the Prussians by Frontline, and asked me if I had heard anything about them. I said "No" as no one commented on any Chicago posts nor did I see nay images.

His comments were they looked very good, but a bit large, so maybe Miniwelt could match, as was suggested.

Looking forward to seeing them soon???

John

I promise to take pictures of the sets and post them on the forum when I get back from the show.

I liked them very much, excited to hear plans are for Russians early next year as well, this could be the start of a very good range, glad I climbed aboard this train early..........

That's an interesting bit of info, too, George, that Russians may be on the way. No one has ever done SYW Russians in any appreciable numbers. Given how Frontline does sets, I can imagine that they'd put them out in numbers that mean you could put together platoons or a company in a display.

I think this range has some legs, it can be combined with some of the sets John Jenkins has done and also plans on doing going forward...........

Warrior, did you remember to take some photos of the Frontline figure of the Prussian Seven Years War figures?

Thanks for those photos, George! Frontline's Prussians are very well done. I spotted a fusilier in there, nice also to see a variety of poses for the Jaegers, and artillery crews, several regiments represented.

Now they need some Austrians or Russians to oppose them...

Prost!

Thanks for showing us these new figures, its great to see someone doing more for this era.

Has there been any 'official news' come out from Frontline about them yet ???

John

Thanks for the pictures George. They do seem to fit in pretty close to the Jenkins scale. I hope you did not came back with any. Meaning of course that you had a good show.

Offical Frontline pictures were emailed to the dealers this week, so look for them to pop up on dealer sites soon.............

Hi, John, still nothing on Frontline's website about it. I saw nothing in the latest issues of "Toy Soldier & Model Figure" and "Toy Soldier Collector", either.

Prost!
