Siege of Firebase Gloria (1 Viewer)

Hey froggers just curious if any one has scene "Siege of Firebase Gloria" [1989}...and what do you think?
Curious as I have not scene the whole movie and might try and hunt it down on DVD.
Its an Australian made Vietnam movie but with an American cast.....check this clip rather epic battle scene with masses of VC attacking.

I counted 4 VC killed with that GI weilding a machette. Another VC met his maker via a bayonet thrust. H,mmm wonder how often VC deaths during the entire 10 year span of the war were the result of those actions? Looks like a relative of Henry Fondas Battle of the Bulge movie. I,ve seen enough.

Interesting battle scene; didn't know M16's were designed to be fired from the hip in a waving back and forth motion.

Also, there's always a guy named Murphy in these movies.

Lastly, nice uniforms, the VC charging with the lamp shades on their heads at the 4:50 mark is a nice touch.

Yes I know its more 80's action and made on a very small shoe string budget!

I liked it enough that I bought the VCR tape - years ago. But I no longer own a VCR tape player.
