Hi I am pretty knew to the forum was wondering if anyone else would like to see some more siege weapons for the crusades and what kind? Seems like most guys collect world war two items they talk about what they would like to see and then K@C makes them. Hopefully talking about the crusades will get somemore of it made! As you can tell I would like to see more done in the crusader line. Anyone else? Thanks!

hey, i'm a huge crusader fan!!! i can't wait for more crusader pieces to come out!! that's all i collect from k&c. plus i'm kinda new to the forum too. the people on the forum are great!!! very helpful! and fun to talk to. (so welcome, from a crusader fan)!!!!!

If I had to do Toy Soldiers again, I think Crusaders for the following reasons:

(1) no snow
(2) no lame trees, shrubs or veggies
(3) very nice figures
(4) not too many figures
(5) really nice buildings and forts and fortifications available
(6) cool tents (JG)
(7) no lame green lawn grass!!! A few browned out bunch grasss clumps work!!
(8) siege engines !!!
(9) dry river crossings with the bridges, but no lame water unless you want
(10) no unit numbers on the shields
(11) nothing retired
(12) you get horses to play with
(13) Palm trees - one of the very few tree models that looks like the actual tree.
(14) Lots of brown dirt everywhere, I can use the stuff from the garden.
(15) someone makes dancing girl figures at the right scale
(16) throw in some roman architecture for fun!!!
(17) no arguments over panzer variants

Yeah I only collect the Crusades series too. Could careless bout WWII Wish K@C would spend some more time on thier other lines. The new Civil War line is very disappointing talk about boring. But the Crusaders are Excellent need more!

LOL :p - Ditto this list for me !!

Love the crusader series,
but we need more Siege weapons, treasures and relics!

And perhaps Godfried Van Bouillon! :)

You forgot to mention that you have a guy holding up someones severed head, you don't often get figures like that.

I have two on foot, variants and one on horseback. I think I am missing the variant of the knight holding out the cross. Does anyone know if there are more variants. And since this is the only range of K@C that I collect are there always some hidden variants in the different lines?

i have all three of the special paints for mk003s,mk011s, and mk015s. plus i have the rare mk008s. i would love get the collectors club crossbow man. but, i can't find one. i don't know if there are anymore rare crusaders? if someone knows of any others please let us all know. thanks.

I thought that there were only the

MK003(S)
MK005(S)
MK011(S)
MK015(S)

Can you send a picture of the MK008(S) Please

An can someone put a picture of the rare crossbow one the forum please?

Thanks

JP

Posted on the wrong thread, variants are mk003 011 and 015 all on foot and variant on horseback mk008? What is the crossbowman? Help!

There is mkoo8 mounted I will try and post a figure but I am not very good at this. I can tell you instead of the crusader in white and red the variant in orange and yellow.

mk008s was given out to dealers only i believe? i talked to 3 dealers about the mk008s and they told me that, each dealer was only given one. can any of the dealers out there confirm this?

I think the Crusader line is the second most eye-appealing line that KC has ever done- behind SOHK/Imperial China. I can easily see how you guys get into this stuff- me, well, I collect based on my military history interests and there is a huge gap between 465 and 1776- with the exception of 1290-1314:D Plus, I can only afford to collect so many figures.

Give 'em time, I am sure the AWI will kick into overdrive and there will be plenty quality offerings out there.

This is probably the wrong place to post this, but anyway I picked up this book during my recent jolly trip to Singapore. Haven't had time to do anything other than skim through it yet cos its over 1000 pages long, but it does look to be definitive.

Cheers

Sure! Here you are! :) He is made in scale 1/30, so he is sort of a bigbrother for all the rest!

There is no MK005S!

Here are some pics of the only special made - MK003, MK011, MK015 and MK008. MK008 is the crusader on horse far left!
