Sieges of Rhodes and Malta (1 Viewer)

I am interested in the sieges of Rhodes and Malta that included the Knights Hospitaller.

It seems like you could start assembling some of the combatants from JJDs Conquistadors and First Legion’s Renaissance and Thirty Years War ranges.

Would like other’s thoughts on this. Which figures might be especially good, which ones might not fit (Landsknechts or Swiss Mercenaries) or any other manufacturers figures or books that would have good illustrations or pictures of museum displays or archaeological sites.

Would the FL Acre walls be a good stand-in for some of the walls on Rhodes or Malta? I assume so.

Does anyone know how well the First Legion Spanish Tercio troops would do as defenders at Malta? The museum at Malta definitely seems to have arms and armor that match what the Tercio troops have. Any thoughts?
