I came across this fine diorama at the Sierra Toy Soldier Company booth at the show and I thought I'd share with all of you John Jenkens fans.

Thanks Carlos for posting those photos. Looks like more outstanding figures coming our way from John Jenkins. I think he really loves the historical period that he sculpts and it shows in his work. He is by far my favorite soldier maker out there at this time. Each new release seems well thought out, fresh and exciting, with impeccable craftsmanship.

Thanks Carlos. Those are great pictures and the first that I have seen up close of the new JJ releases.

The diorama and new figures are based on the "Battle of Snowshoes." I have never heard of this battle, but it's great that John is not simply doing figures in more common uniforms.:)

I saw it and I was quite impressed. This is definitely the golden age for matt figures.
