My July 2007 Issue of my The American Legion magazine has a article about this lady.
How she endured 4 years of Nazi occupation, supported U.S paratroopers who fought for the liberation of France. She devoted her life, from the decoration of graves at 3 cemeteries in her home town of Ste. Mere-Eglise. She wrote hundreds of American families who lost love ones during the Allied invasion.
This article was by Jeff Stoffer Managing Editor of The American Legion magazine. Jstoffer@legion.org
They are looking for anyone who has a letters from Simone Renaud who will share a photocopy for a trailer to view of a documentary film of her life story http://www.motherofnormandy.com/
