Maybe it's me but I got 2 sets of French Marines of the Quebec range and QFM-02 seems larger than QFM-05.The kneeling firing figure in # 2 is almost as tall as the guy in the gray coat in #5 and the standing firing guy is hovering over him .The guy in #5 is running and slighly bent over but everything about him seems to be slighly smaller.I think this was an issue in VM-04.It's not a big deal to me as I can put set #5 back farther but I was wondering if anybody else noticed this.Actually I kind of like the smaller ones better.

Yes, QFM-02 are larger figures. I also noticed that the new faces have thinned out a lot as well. That I am not too pleased with. You can't place it further back.

When the first 3 Ticonderoga figures arrived, my immediate reaction was that the figures were smaller than normal. I did not have this reaction to the QFM-05.

Comparing the Culloden's British Regulars with the Ticonderoga figures, the Ticonderoga are definitely smaller in the head, hands and shoulders. Decidedly smaller in the shoulders. Unsure about the height difference. Clearly, a thinner figure. These guys need a few good meals and some time in the gym to bulk up.

My gut feeling was that the Ticonderoga Highlanders are similar to the Frasier Highlanders from the Quebec release, but the Frasier Highlanders are bulkier than the Ticonderoga figures.

My preference is for figures with a "bulk" similar to Culloden British Regulars.

I believe John also changed the European flesh tone to a somewhat paler color.

I like the new style if that's what you call it but it does make it a little hard to mix with earlier figures. As usual we will adapt.

I didn't notice it either until I got QFM-02.
