Manoil, if I am not mistaken. I know these figures are depicted in O'Brien's "Collecting Toy Soldiers", and I'd have to look to be sure of Manoil, versus Barclay. But I'm pretty sure it's Manoil. American dimestore.
This figures represent a cross-over from our hobby to others. I think there are a lot of people who were kids in the late Thirties, Forties and early Fifties, who may never have had toy soldiers, but they remember these figures as part of their family's Christmas decorations (the Christmas Putz, as we call it around here, and no, that's not a Christmas knucklehead )
