So the pattern of the smocks on AK11 Standing Patrol is a) Wrong and b) FJ Jump Smocks never existed in Afrika?

Never say never when it comes to German SS or wehrmacht uniforms.
One thing for certain is that the K&C desert FJs are wearing desert splinter pattern jump smocks that did not exist. It looks cool though.
Back on Ramcke I'd think it entirely possible thay had their olive or splinter jump smocks with them for when it got cold in the desert.
