Sneak Preview of K&C Ad - DDay Paratroopers (1 Viewer)

We just received a copy of the advertisement to be published in the Toy Soldier Magazine, issue no. 86 featuring the new D-Day Paratroopers (complete with parachutes). To view it, go to: http://www.treefrogtreasures.com/DDParatrooper.jpg

The actual parachutes are cast in resin and come complete with actual cotton lines that suspend the paratrooper beneath. All three ‘troopers are in different poses and look fantastic suspended from the ceiling descending at different heights.

They are expected to be released in late June and we will have pricing on them next week.


What do you think of these new figures?

Looks pretty fantastic as far as I can tell (do they make bad sets?). The trick will be to have the right anchor in the ceiling so the paratroopers don't fall.

It,s hard enough trying to figure out how to display everything, I don,t have a clue with these paratroopers.

Although I do enjoy seeing the creativity from K&C, the displaying of these will be an issue for me. Up until know I have had a rule of displaying all my K&C figures in curios. This is definitely going to break that rule but won't keep me from purchasing them.

Paratroopers

Victory, it looks like you will have to get out the fishing line and jerry rig something from the above shelf in the curio to hang the new paratroopers.Thats the only way I see it for keeping them under glass.I little ring clasp glued to the very top of the chute would work or stringing the line under the chute and up through.Andy should have made the chutes with a couple of small Flak holes in them and that would have allowed for the line to go through and be less visible.I would hate to do any kind of modification it shouldn't be to hard to Dremel small arms fire holes in the chute.
Okay you can all stop laughing.Just thinking out loud.I've got ten minutes before qa long and boring meeting.Bare with me..

Actually not bad ideas. I wonder if he'll provide line or you have to get that yourself. I'm sure he'll put holes through them.

Ceiling fan

Just make sure you don't hang them on your ceiling fan.
